The Grand Union Canal links London to Birmingham, passing through rolling countryside, industrial towns and peaceful villages. It is our longest canal, the ‘trunk route’ of the system, and helps thousands of people to live healthier, happier lives.
The Grand Union Canal passes through the parish of Soulbury at the Three Locks. Here there is a canal-side pub which has just opened after a complete refurbishment, although with the present restrictions and social distancing regulations it has had to close its doors like all such venues nationwide. More details of menus and events will be published when we return to something close to normality. In the meantime, visit the Canal and River Trust website which contains a lot of information relating to the whole canal network; its history, safety on the water and beside it, trips and events.
